Concrete Core Drilling on a Gulf Coast Project
When a Gulf Coast customer needed immediate help drilling through concrete to stabilize a shifting dock wall, ATI deployed a rapid response team to get the job done. A concrete cutting crew mobilized and began work on the project within 24 hours. At one point, three separate teams were drilling concrete simultaneously. Working from the water, the crews drilled twenty 12-foot-long, 9-inch-wide holes at a 20-degree downward angle, including 24 x 24-inch overdrill access holes above each core. This project is yet another example of how ATI uses the latest technology and engineering to complete even the most demanding jobs quickly and safely.
